THE FOX & HOUNDS NOW NON-SMOKING
After much consideration it has been decided the Fox & Hounds will be a non-smoking facility. We would like to make our hotel environment a safe and healthy place for our guests to stay. We will still have designated smoking areas outside of the hotel in the Garden and on the patio off the Cock & Bear.
PET FRIENDLY AGAIN
The Cheshire Lodge is happily welcoming pets with restrictions.
* Pets may not to exceed 40 lbs.
*Pets are not to be left unattended.
*We ask that you do not bring pets into the breakfast area.
*When walking pets through the hotel they must be on a leash or in a carrier.
*Pets should not be left alone in room unless they are in a carrier.
*Owner is responsible for any damages to hotel.
*If your pet is loud or becomes a nuisance to other guests you will be asked to move. If the problem continues you will be asked to leave the hotel.
Forest Park has wonderful walking trails for pets located right across Skinker!
GREAT NEW RATES AT THE CHESHIRE IN 2009
We are currently running specials at the Lodge on all of our rooms. Standard room rates from $89 a night plus tax. Specialty Suites from $135. And for the first time Fantasy Suites are starting at $135. All Suites will include a bottle of champagne. We also have new packages that would be ideal for a romantic getaway with that special someone.
FREE HEALTHY START BREAKFAST
The Cheshire Lodge is now offering a free healthy start breakfast seven days a week. Breakfast includes items such as fresh fruit, juices, milk, grain cereals, english muffins, and seasonal favorites.
POOL AND UNDERGROUND RENOVATIONS COMPLETED
Cheshire Lodge is happy to announce the Underground Parking Garage and Canterbury Pool & Courtyard are now open after months of renovations. Plenty of free underground and surface parking available for Hotel and Fox & Hounds Guests. As a Guest of the Cheshire Lodge you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the "New" Outdoor Pool and/or relax in the Canterbury Courtyard with a cool beverage from the Fox & Hounds Tavern. The pool season starts in May and ends in October.
CHESHIRE LODGE JOINS THE NO SMOKING EFFORT
One of St. Louis' most recognized landmarks is now a non-smoking entity. The Cheshire Lodge hotel will no longer allow smoking in any of its sleeping rooms, including the infamous Fantasy Suites, or public areas. The Fox & Hound Tavern will however remain a smoking facility. We will allow courteous smoking in designated areas outside the hotel.
